Can the Devil Create Life?

Investigation of  the Devils powers

Introduction

There has been almost no debate among Christians or Christian Theologians as to the extent of the Devils powers. Almost without exception, Christians consider discussion of the Devil's powers as something akin to blasphemy, "God forbid" anyone suggest that he could "create". But, as seen in the book of Revelation he certainly causes a image to come to "LIFE".

Who or what is the Devil?

The Devil known by, Belial, Enemy, Serpent, Satan, Tempter, Ruler of demons, Adversary, Strong man, Angel of bottomless pit, Murderer, Great red dragon, Liar & father of lies, Beelzebub, Ruler of world, Accuser of the brethren, god of this world, prince of the power of the air, wicked one, meaning in Heb: "Abbadon" literally-destruction, and in Greek: "Apollyon" literally-destroyer.

The Devil, as agreed by the vast majority of theologians and bible expositors is a fallen angle. Much can be discussed as to his nature, or perhaps we might just sum it as, “a nature of evil”. The Hebrew Old Testament, the voice of history, Jewish sages, and the Pseudepigrapha all give insights as to his nature and wiles. See other E-books for a greater discussion of this subject.

Does the Bible state any limit to the Devil's powers?

There seems to be no discussion in scripture of the Devil's powers or limitations. So where did we get the idea of limitations, or for that matter the nature of his capabilities? There seems to be the idea in Christianity that the devil's powers are only that of deception. But upon close examination of scripture it is revealed that no limit or explanations as to the extent of his powers are given. We are told in the Book of Job that the devil kills Job's servants, sheep, camels, and his sons. He uses people, fire from heaven, and a great wind to accomplish these awful feats.

But most reveling and shocking is this passage in Revelation.

(Rev. 13:15) And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The Devil gives, "life"? I didn't say that, but the writer of Revelation did! I don't think this is any      special dispensation in that the verbiage used is, "he had power". A plain statement of fact, such     as the policeman had, "the power" to write the ticket. The devil "had power" and "gave life"? Yes,   exactly what it said.

So, we see that the devil can in fact create life. I would apostolate in fact that he did so at the dawn of civilization. Where did Cain’s wife come from? What about the Neanderthals’? Was there a pre-Adamite world? See our other E-books for discussions on these subjects.
